Wedhampton Methodist Chapel, Urchfont

In 1821 a tenement in the occupation of Sarah Stone was registered as a Methodist meeting house. A Methodist red brick chapel was built in 1867 and used until c.1964 when it was converted into a house. It was situated in The Cartway and was mainly served by lay preachers from Devizes. Wedhampton Chapel had a 'sunshine corner' but no real Sunday school and no outings or parties.
