Chapel of Ease, East Grafton

The Chapel of Ease at East Grafton, dedicated to St. Mary, was standing in 1302. It was sited in a field almost opposite the present church and its foundations were discovered and removed in 1844. It was a simple parallelogram with two buttresses at each angle and measured 53' long by 17' 6" wide. It was still in use in 1480 but there is no record of it after this date.
