Non-conformists, Steeple Langford

There were relatively few non-conformists in Steeple Langford; only a few were recorded as not attending the church in the 16th century.
At Bathampton in the 1580s Robert Hall, who lived in Great Bathampton, did not attend church due to his "own conscience".
