Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, Broad Town

On 28 January 1815 the house of Isaac Lowder was licensed for Methodist worship, while in April 1832 a house occupied by Richard Tuckey, a labourer was certified for Wesleyan Methodist worship.A Wesleyan Methodist chapel was built in 1868; it stood at Chapel Lane and cost £420 to build. It was shut in 1938 and knocked down soon after.
