At Easterton, an early license was given to a house for Quaker worship on 10 December 1707. On 17 April 1740, a license for Anabaptist worship was given for the house of Edward Draper. Mormon worship was licensed at the home of William Draper on 22 January 1846.
At Eastcott, a house owned by Hannah Ellis and William Sainsbury was licensed for private worship on 21 March 1806. Another Independent license was granted on 11 November 1817, this time for a house owned by Jane West.
