St Paul's Chapel-of-Ease was built in 1897 at a cost of £600 and accommodated 100 people. It was built from brick and timber. The reason for its construction was that a chapel-of-ease would be more accessible to some parishioners, especially in the winter months, as it was situated on the Green in the centre of Poulshot, next to the Rectory; St. Peter's, on the other hand, lies on the southern edge of the village in the area known as Townsend. From 1929 the chapel was not longer used as a place of worship but as a Church Hall.
