Non-conformists, Winterbourne Bassett

In March 1824 a tenement was licensed for dissenters’ meetings, namely that of Wesleyan Methodists. Similarly, a license was given to a group of Primitive Methodists to meet in a cottage in March 1846, although many members of the congregation also attended the parish church.
