Primitive Methodists, West Grimstead

In 1834 a certificate was given for Primitive Methodist worship in a house owned and occupied by Henry Cook. Primitive Methodism does not seemed to have appealed to many of the farm labourers, probably owing to the popularity of Wesleyan Methodism in the parish, and nothing is known of this group.
