Roman Catholic Church of St. Edmund Rich, Calne

There is no early evidence of Roman Catholics in Calne. Services were held in the town during the Second World War and in 1947 a small garage in Oxford Road, which was extended and converted to a temporary church. A new brick church was built on nearby site in 1962.
