Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, Mill Road, Salisbury

There was a Methodist meeting at the Green Dragon in Fisherton c.1736-46 and houses were certified for worship in 1794 and 1810. In 1832 the Wesleyan Methodist chapel opened in Mill Road and in 1851 it was recorded that there were 250 seats. A new Methodist chapel opened in Fisherton Street in 1869 and the congregation moved there from Mill Road. This was used until 1917 when it was replaced by a new chapel in Dews Road.
