Christian Scientists, Salisbury

Between 1915 and 1922 services were held in private houses but in 1922 a room was leased in Avon Chambers, Castle Street, and public services began. In March 1929 the congregation moved to 24 Milford Street and in April 1930 they received recognition from the mother church in Boston. In the 1970s the First Church of Christ Scientist was at 77 St. Mark's Road.
