Church of St. Michael and All Angels, Bemerton, Salisbury

A modern church to serve the needs of an expanding community. It was consecrated in 1957 and is cruciform in shape with an apsidal chancel. The style is Romanesque in inspiration but mid 20th century in character in the details. It was designed by N.F. Cachemaille-Day and is in yellow brick with stone facings.The parish registers from 1933 (christenings) and 1950 (marriages) are held in the Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre in Chippenham.
