Roman Catholic Chapel of Ease, Ludgershall

This began as a Catholic Women's League canteen during the Second World War. It was opened, to the west of the church in Doctor's Meadow, in 1943 and combined a canteen with a church. It was later fitted with an Italianate altar and was bought from the War Office by Clifton diocese in 1949. The church was served from Amesbury but was badly damaged by fire in 1990 and closed.
