Burton Hill Chapel, St. Paul Malmesbury Without

This was probably a survival of part of the hospital of St. Mary Magdalene form the late 13th century. In 1540 the building was a chapel at the junction of the Chippenham and Swindon roads. It was being used as a private house by 1768 and was demolished in the early 19th century when Canister Hall was built on the site.
