| This has got to be one of the most beautiful churches I've seen. I come here three times a year as my Mumss ashes were given to area looking onto old Salisbury road. Carol Rose Mary Mead! | I wonder if you might have any information on Margaret Thistlethwayte (1523-1560) who was probably the daughter of Alexander Thistlethwayte and sister to Robert and Giles, who both died as bachelors. Margaret married John Batt (1517-1567) of Salisbury, Wiltshire. This may have been her second marriage as there is a reference to her marrying William Holmes first. I got some of this info from the memorials in All Saints Church. Many thanks. |
