This is very interesting. I have also heard that the Cuckoo Inn at Hamptworth was used as a school for a short time. Having lived there during my childhood I am very interested to find out more about this. All I know of its history is that it was also a shop and has been a public house for 150yrs. I have no idea how to find out more. Can anyone help? |
