Thank you so much for a wonderful article. I was born in Chilmark but had moved to Salisbury by the time of starting school. However, my mother, uncles and grandparents went there. A lovely school. |

I think there a mistake with the paragraph concerning evacuees. The dates do not make sense - evacuees arriving in 1944 and by 1941 only so many left?? Response from WSHC: The wording re evacuees has been corrected. |
