Notes

In 1927 the school, at 9 Manor Road, was offering a good general education at a moderate cost and by 1932 there was both a junior school and a kindergarten. In 1953 there were day and boarding pupils, aged from 8 to 18, and a Pre-Preparatory department for those aged from 4 to 8 years. The school had extended to two more houses at 15 and 20 (pictured here) Manor Road. By 1955 there were 165 boys aged from 4 to 18. By 1962 the school had extended again to take in 22 Manor Road and by 1967 they were also using a house in London Road. The school is last mentioned in 1971.
