Rode Hill National School, Southwick

This school was built by subscription in 1834 and received a grant from the National Society. By 1881 there was a mistress, a pupil teacher and a paid monitor. The weekday attendance averaged 60; the building was also used for a Sunday School when about 75 children attended.
