In 1934 a Methodist chapel, Gaisford Memorial Methodist Chapel, was built in the centre of Lyneham village. By 1968, Gaisford Memorial Methodist Chapel was being used by Presbyterians and other denominations. By this time the chapel was served by chaplains from R.A.F. Lyneham.
More recently it has become St. Andrew’s Methodist Church.
