Notes

This replaced a wooden hut, which had been the garrison church from 1938, and was dedicated by the Chaplain General, the Venerable Archdeacon Youens, in 1968. The foundation stone comes from the Church of St. Giles at Imber and the church was named after this church in the village taken over by the army in 1944
