Notes

Built in 1828-9 on the south west corner of the Green this had 170 pupils by 1834. Numbers fell in the middle of the century, only 80-90 in 1858, but rose again with 155 in 1876. Numbers fell again in the 1920s and in 1930 this school was amalgamated with the National School for Girls as Calne Junior School.
