Notes

A building was licensed for Baptist worship in 1798, but no permanent congregation grew up. However, by 1850 there were enough in the village for the Warminster congregation to build a chapel there. It provided 100 sittings, & a congregation of 60 attended in 1851, when afternoon & evening services were held on Sundays & the minister from Warminster preached on Thursday evenings. The chapel fell out of use in 1907 & was sold in 1920, the proceeds going towards paying off the debt on the Warminster chapel. By the mid 20th century it had been changed to a dwelling house.
