Notes

The church is found to the north of the Westbury to Frome road in the middle of the village. It was built in 1866 after the Marquess of Bath gave land for the building of a church and school. The font has a cover of oak and was donated by a Mr Furneaux who was the Rector of Berkley and the pulpit was made of Corsham stone. Two bells were installed when the church was built. The organ was made by Scudamore Organs and Henry Willis, the builder, had built the Cathedral organs for Winchester, Wells and Exeter. There was a Sunday school each week. The church is Grade II listed. The parish registers from 1867 (baptisms and burials) and 1955 (marriages), other than those in current use, are held in the Wiltshire & Swindon History Centre. For earlier entries please see Corsley, Dilton Marsh and Westbury (Registers also in the Wiltshire & Swindon History Centre).
