Notes

There was a Wesleyan chapel at Worton by 1825. In 1832 there were 13 members and just ten a few years later. Nevertheless, a new chapel was built in 1849 to modernise this place of worship.

After it closed as a Methodist chapel it was reopened as an Anglican Catholic church, known as St. Brihtwold’s.
