Kingsbury Hill House School, Marlborough

The school was opened c. 1943 by Thelwell as a preparatory school for girls and small boys. It was bought in 1964 by Mr W.I. Washbrook, who enlarged the premises and extended the curriculum. In 1982 there were 190 boys and girls at the school and the age range was 3 to 16. The school now takes children aged 3 to 13.
