Notes

Wesleyan chapel of 18999 incorporated in a modern house.

A meeting house was certified in 1835, being described a dwelling house but was later described a a chapel built in 1834. On census Sunday in 1851 three meetings with an average attendance of 90 were held in it. The building was in ruins in 1862 when the meeting, still well attended, was held in a converted barn. A new chapel was built in 1898 and was small and of red brick. The foundation stone was laid on 27th April and the chapel opened on 21st September. It was closed in the mid 1950s and is now part of a private house.
