Notes

This was built in Northgate Street in 1822 on land given by Robert Waylen. The school served the nonconformists of the town but was closed at short notice in 1893 in the mistaken belief that a school board was about to be formed in Devizes. The children were accommodated in the Town Schools or educated in the parish rooms. In 1895 the building was handed over to the borough for a technical school and was sold in 1906.
