'The Lamb' at Semington, now known as 'The Lamb on the Strand', is within the parish of Keevil. The first mention of a pub on this site is in 1768, when it was called 'The Carpenter's Arms'. Some when in the late 18th/early 19th century the property was re-built & re-named 'The Long's Arms' after the local land-owner. The first reference to the name change to 'The Lamb' is in 1907.
