Chippenham County Secondary Modern School

Began in the old grammar school premises in Cocklebury Road in 1940. In 1956 the girls moved to purpose built buildings at Hardenhuish and the boys followed in 1959. In 1966 the school integrated with the grammar school in a semi-comprehensive system with children of 14 and over being educated on the secondary modern site.
