The George Ward School, Melksham

Replaced the Shurnhold Secondary School and was named after Alderman George Ward, JP, of Melksham, who was involved in local public affairs for over 50 years. This school has now itself been replaced by the new Melksham Oak Community School at Bowerhill on the south eastern side of Melksham.
