Matravers School, Westbury

Formed from the Westbury Secondary Modern School and with a few classrooms dating from the 1920s. Separate Design and Maths blocks were built in the 1970s and in 1982 a new central block was built. The school has always put on high quality concerts and plays and has recently built a new dance and drama block. It is a member of the Trowbridge Sixth Form Centre and from September 2003 it will be recognised as having its own Sixth Form. In September 2001 it became an Arts College and in 2002 it achieved Expressive and Perfoming Arts Status
