The Avenue Secondary Modern School, Warminster

Opened in 1931 as the Avenue Senior School with some pupils transferred from the closing Warminster County Secondary School and others coming in from village schools. Became known as the Avenue Secondary Modern School in 1953 and closed in 1960 when the children were transferred to the new Kingdown School.
