This was established in 1841, attached to the Diocesan Training School, to provide opportunities for teaching practice for the student teachers. In 1850 there were 100 girls being taught by a mistress and three pupil teachers. A report in 1859 stated that the building, furniture and books were excellent and the discipline and instruction were very good. The school closed in 1871.
