Charles Notley's School, Salisbury

Click on a photograph to view it.

By 1885 Charles Notley had a school at Friary House in St. Ann Street. In 1899 this was advertised as the Collegiate School, Salisbury and claimed 'Distinstions gained in English, French, Latin and Shorthand in Oxford and Cambridge Local examinations'. The school also prepared pupils for London matriculation. In 1903 and 1907 Notley advertised a boys' school in St. Thomas's Square, but not under the name of Collegiate School, and there are no further advertisements from 1911 onwards.
