Swan School for Boys, Salisbury

Founded by Miss E.N. Swanton in 1933 as the Boy's Pre-Preparatory School at 91 Crane Street. By 1947 the school was known as the Pre-Preparatory School for Boys and by 1953 the school had moved to St. Martin's Hall at 86 Milford Hill and had become St. Martin's Hall School.This was a preparatory school for boys aged from 4 to 11 and had become the Swan School for Boys by 1956. By 1964 the school moved to 26 Elm Road and in 1996 they amalgamated with La Retraite School for Girls under the name of La Retraite Swan School in Campbell Road.
