This was located at 46 St. Anne Street, later expanding into number 48. It existed by 1867, when Miss Emily Beckinsale was the Superintendent. There was a school for younger girls, aged from 3 to 13 years, and the older girls, aged 13 and 14, were then trained to go into service. In 1891, as well as the Superintendent, there was an Assistant Superintendent, 2 governesses, a matron, a servant and 4 laundresses. There were 18 older girls and 10 schoolchildren. By 1911 the Superintendent was Miss Amelia Pearce and by 1915 it was Miss Mary Stockall. The institution seems to have closed during, or just after, the First World War.
