Market Lavington Secondary Modern School

In 1938 there were plans for a senior school to be built at South Park, once part of the grounds of the Manor House, but these were disrupted by the Second World War. It was not until 1962 that a secondary modern school, with 154 pupils, opened on the site. The school became comprehensive in 1973,with 360 pupils and further information can be found under Lavington School.
