Williams, Alfred: Ms / WGS: 'We printed several lines of this a few weeks ago, and I stated the song was sung at Blunsdon by a very aged man. A correspondent, Mrs B A Brown, of Colesbourne, Gloucestershire, very kindly sends the complete copy as it was sung in her girlhood.'
