Title
Down in the North Country
Singer
Faulkner, James
Notes
Williams, Alfred: Ms: 'This also was told me by James Falconer of Brize Norton. It is undoubtedly of a good age. The piece is uncommon: I have not heard it elsewhere. Brize Norton has been famous for its singing in times past. Few villages in the Thames Valley could surpass it either in the number or the quality of its singers. I unfortunately arrived on the scene too late by at least ten years to save the best of the Brize Norton songs.'
