Williams, Alfred: Ms / WGS: 'An old hunting song, one of such as were commonly sung at Hunt Dinners. It is met with in several forms: below are two versions, and there are possibly others. The first appears to be a mixture since two localities are suggested, i.e. those of Alton, Hampshire, and Badminton, Gloucestershire. Copy obtained of John Puffet, Lechlade and David Sawyer, Ogbourne, Wiltshire.
