Williams, Alfred: Ms / WGS: 'This quaint old piece I discovered at Somerford Keynes and, although I have made numerous enquiries, I have been unable to trace it elsewhere. The words I obtained of Mr John Ockwell, It was one of his father's favourite pieces. The old man was a fine singer and could beat all other local minstrels in the number and quality of his songs. He has been dead for some years now.'
