Williams, Alfred: Ms / WGS: 'The following pieces also I obtained of Mrs M Bond, Quenington, though I heard a few words of the first [Of all the brave birds] at Aston a few months ago. The Christ Church is evidently that of Oxford, so that the piece is local.'

The differences in Williams' notes are confusing. In the first he is clearly referring to 'Of all the brave birds', yet the note in FSUT states that the Christ Church Bells was heard at Aston.

The text Christ Church Bells is followed by a pencil line.
Then the words of 'Follow me' are given. There is a note in another hand: '= Mi.573?' On Mi 573 which is a typescript appears 'published in F.O.U.P [Page 298]. M/S missing.'
